What is

Jiu-Jitsu ?

Self Defense.

Men. Women. Children.

A human game of chess filled with fight philosophy and concepts of personal development, jiu-jitsu is much more than a simple self-defense class. It is practiced in a safe, corporative environment and is available to men, women, and children—whatever their age or physical abilities.

Control.

Your body. Your mind. Your opponent.

Jiu-Jitsu teaches us how to control our body , our mind, our opponent, and then, submit them—using technique, skill and strategy rather than strength, size, or explosiveness.

Combat.

We are learning to fight, not fighting to learn.

Jiu-jitsu allows a smaller, weaker person to defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, faster opponent. For those interested in MMA, jiu-jitsu is perhaps the most important martial art to master.

“I want to give every man, woman, and child the confidence and abilities necessary to feel safe in a world where anything can happen.”

— Parker Murray

Parker Murray.

“Unfortunately in our world today, it’s necessary—especially woman and children—to know how to defend themselves. I love the fact that jiu-jitsu allows a smaller, weaker person to defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, faster attacker. I want to give every man, woman, and child the confidence and abilities necessary to feel safe in a world where anything can happen.” -Parker Murray

After finishing his career in American football, Parker was looking for an outlet for sports and competition. He began practicing jiu-jitsu with a friend in Mauritania, and upon going back to the United States, he trained in a Gracie Certified Training Center and now he currently holds his blue belt under the Gracie family.

We are the only Gracie Certified Training Center in the country—come experience the different during your 10 Day Free Trial!
