What is
Jiu-Jitsu ?
Self Defense.
Men. Women. Children.
A human game of chess filled with fight philosophy and concepts of personal development, jiu-jitsu is much more than a simple self-defense class. It is practiced in a safe, corporative environment and is available to men, women, and children—whatever their age or physical abilities.
Control.
Your body. Your mind. Your opponent.
Jiu-Jitsu teaches us how to control our body , our mind, our opponent, and then, submit them—using technique, skill and strategy rather than strength, size, or explosiveness.
Combat.
We are learning to fight, not fighting to learn.
Jiu-jitsu allows a smaller, weaker person to defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, faster opponent. For those interested in MMA, jiu-jitsu is perhaps the most important martial art to master.
“I want to give every man, woman, and child the confidence and abilities necessary to feel safe in a world where anything can happen.”
— Parker Murray
